The Site Survey

Our site survey includes all aspects to do with the installation. Below are some examples of the main aspects.

  • Power requirements/capacity
    If fuse capacity is not sufficient, believe keeps it simple. We’ll apply to the DNO (Distribution Network Operator) on your behalf. N.B. DNO’s are required to upgrade the service fuse for free.

We conduct a free on-site survey submitting a report on all of the above

A further site visit may be required to install a power analyser monitoring device (typically monitoring electrical consumption over seven days, to find peak usage). This service is also part of the free survey package.

Groundworks requirements are all carried out by our dedicated team

Our different approach to costs means this is all included in our free installation package.
The groundworks will cover up to £2,500 of groundworks costs. £2,500 covers 95% of installations.

Wiring and electrical work

Guess what? At believe we cover the cost of this too!

Additional sub-distribution board/s, dynamic load balancing kit and armoured cable can increase this cost. Typically no more than £3,000. Don’t worry! believe has you covered up to this amount, a greater value would be highlighted in our survey.

Charge Point Unit Choice

Here’s the best bit! We choose the most suitable unit and you don’t pay a single penny!

All signage requirements, in accordance with publicly accessible charge points.
